Every Child Deserves
a Mighty Education.
Providing fully funded, individualized academic support to Title I Metro Nashville students who need it most.
Students not reading proficiently by 3rd grade are 4× more likely to not graduate high school on time. Early intervention changes everything. ¹
Mighty Minds Impact expands access to high-quality, individualized academic support for students with the greatest learning needs. Through fully funded intervention and educational services for students with IEPs and Tier 3 needs attending Title I Metro Nashville Public Schools, we remove barriers to opportunity and help children build the skills, confidence, and foundation needed to thrive.
The students Mighty Minds serves face the steepest climb. Here’s what that means in practice.
An Individualized Education Program is a legally binding, federally mandated plan developed for students with documented disabilities. In Tennessee, eligibility categories include Specific Learning Disability (which encompasses reading challenges like dyslexia), Intellectual Disability, Speech or Language Impairment, Other Health Impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Developmental Delay, and others. An IEP is not a generic support plan — it requires a school to deliver specific, measurable goals and specialized services tailored to that child alone. Without proper implementation, students with IEPs often fall further behind each year.
Schools use a three-level framework called MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) to identify and respond to student needs. Tier 1 is universal classroom instruction. Tier 2 adds targeted small-group support. Tier 3 is the highest level of intervention — reserved for students who are significantly below grade level and have not responded to previous support. These students need intensive, one-on-one instruction to close the gap before it becomes permanent.
A community built on learning
Our long-term vision is to cultivate a community of learning that fosters not just academic growth, but empowers students through consistent mentorship, confidence building, and access to meaningful opportunities. We prioritize students attending Title I schools — especially those whose families face financial barriers or whose parents did not attend college.
